These hoops are 38mm in size and are a good thickness, they are 1.3mm in thickness. 14k yellow gold filled. They are not thick hoops. Thick hoops will be a lot more expensive. 14k Gold filled comprises a solid layer of gold (14k) permanently bonded to a base metal. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th the weight of the total item. It is very hard wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate. I do make a larger 50mm and a 65mm.
